School of ceramics
Fired clay is one of the first artificial materials created by humans. The ways of using and processing clay determined the level of development of human civilization. And even today, it continues to retain its potential.
Plasticity, environmental friendliness, and the possibility of recycling are what still make clay relevant. It also opens up new opportunities for artists, architects, and designers. And in the end, it is interesting and fun for everyone to work with.
During the week of July 21-28, at the School of Ceramics, we will experiment with clay as much as possible, going through the entire cycle of creating ceramics - from forming an object to firing and receiving the finished product.
Dana Prudnikova-Roshko, a ceramic artist, will teach us and share all the intricacies of working with clay.
