Tbilisi workshop: building, cooking, dancing

The "slow" and time-stretched festival Urban Scanning Session '21 continues.‍

We invite you to design and build a large-scale public space in the Parasolka courtyard under the curation of our partners - the team of the Tbilisi Architecture Biennale.‍

FOR WHOM
Within the framework of the concept of rooting, we involve the local community in joint work:
- architects
- designers
- makers and all those who like to work with building materials, machines and tools in our workshops.
Come and gain new experience in designing different types of structures. And also get acquainted with new approaches to design and exchange expertise with our friends from Tbilisi.‍

WHAT WE WILL DO.
We will build a public space made of metal and wood next to the Parasolka Open Shop. We will develop the design of the public space, reuse various building materials (or use materials based on the ecological principles of the circular economy), and experiment with different types of structures and installations.No registration is required. Your participation and enthusiasm are very much needed. Just send us a private message if you are ready to join us.

HOW WE WILL CELEBRATE
On Saturday, September 4, we will finish the construction camp with a daytime party with Georgian food, drinks and dancing.

The Tbilisi workshop is a part of the Urban Scanning Session 2021 festival and is organized in partnership with Teple Misto, Parasolka Open Workshop, and Detali with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.
