Metalworking course
Metal is a material that is extremely common in manufacturing, construction, interior decoration, etc. We are offering a closer look at the processes of the metalworking workshop at the Parasolka Open Workshop and launching a metalworking course.
The metalworking course is a basic course where participants will get acquainted with various equipment, metalworking techniques, learn how to safely handle and use metalworking machines.
During the 3 days of the course, we will learn how to cut, drill, heat metal, bend, weld, and grind metal parts. We will also experiment with different connections, shapes, and textures.
During the course, participants will make several metal items for the home.
The curators of the Metalworking Course will be the residents of the Open Workshop "Parasolka" Pavlo Marchenko and Volodymyr Vintoniak.
The woodworking course will last for 3 days at the Parasolka Open Workshop, 23 Akademika Sakharova St:
- August 4 (Wednesday) - from 18:00 to 21:00;
- August 5 (Thursday) - from 18:00 to 21:00;
- August 6 (Friday) - from 18:00 to 21:00.
Hurry up, the number of seats is limited.
Participation in the Metalworking Course is free of charge.
We provide each participant with all the necessary tools, materials and supplies.
The metalworking course is a part of the Urban Scanning Session 2021 festival and is held in partnership with the Teple Misto platform and the Parasolka Open Workshop with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.
